I am sitting here at work, not really wanting to take one of my older laptops that has a serial connection out into the field. It is bulky, awkward and has a very short half life (battery).
So I am thinking about USB to Serial and staring at my A200. I use my A200 for more than pleasure. The networking utilities that are available are outstanding. Well then I was thinking, it would be neat if I could plug a USB to Serial adapter into it, use a terminal program and troubleshoot a serial device in the field.
I still eventually want to get a Windows tablet to replace my laptop one of these days, but why can't I do this with my A200?
Thoughts?
