Help USB Transfer speeds

Hi I Have just upgraded my S3 to a new S5 I am having a problem transferring files from my Acer Aspire Windows 7 laptop via the supplied usb cable, Transfer from my laptop to my phone take fore ever I am now using Airdroid over wifi which works well . My problem is the slow usb transfer speeds. Cant even move small files even a single mp3 from phone to S D card without given up after a few minutes

I suggest that you have the wrong USB drivers..... USB 3.0 moves files at almost the same speed as from one hard drive to another hard drive.

I can select 40 screenshots and copy them to my PC and it takes about 5 seconds.

Enter the correct model number of your phone, not 'S5'... it is carrier specific.

Thanks AZg my laptop does not support USB 3.0 . Will download drivers from link .
