Use 2nd Phone as Signal Booster?

I get hardly any signal in my house. I was wondering if there was a way to use my second Android phone as a kind of Signal Booster instead of shelling out several hundred dollars for one? I get one to two bars if my phone is in the window, but it would be nice to have a second phone up there so I'm not on a ladder every time I'd like to use the phone.

Not possible. You'll either have to use a booster, or see your carrier about getting a femtocell or WiFi calling.
