Help Use SE PC Companion to install .apk?

I've installed Android 2.3.3 on my Xperia X10i and it looks great.
Unfortunately, all my apps and other stuff were deleted from the phone.
I have everything backed up, but cannot re-install the apps as I no longer
have a file manager to view them.
Access to the Marketplace is also not working - I assume some settings
were lost.

So ... Is it possible to install apps using the SE PC companion?
It still works ok. Many Thanks.

Access to the Android Market should work. Reboot and try again, and if it doesn't work repair your phone.

Also there is a thread around here about reinstalling Backup & Restore, you might want to do that.

Maybe someone else knows how to solve your issue without reinstalling everything, someone?

FlashTool is magic, no need to go select each app...you select a batch and install all with no hassle

I finally decided to use DroidExplorer. Setup was hassle-free and worked fine
on my ole Win XP machine. And didn't have to root my phone.

Download DroidExplorer 0.8.7.2

Thank you all for your suggestions.
