Useful apps for college?

What are some useful apps for college students that you guys use? So far all I've found was "Studious" which lets you keep everything organized (assignments due date, class schedule) and the terrible app my school let out.

Of course there are the obvious like a dictionary app, a notetaking one (I use evernote.)

Now that I think of it, I'm taking math this semester. Any good scientific calculator apps out there? I'm not too fond of downloading them to try since math is my worst subject and I couldn't tell a good calculator app from a bad one even if it hit me in the face.

Thanks :D

"Lecture Notes" (play store) $4.00 - there is a free trial, but the full version is as close as Android has come to apple's popular "Notability" application - if not better. It's well suited for a tablet, although you could make it work on a phone with a larger screen.

I use camscanner a lot for college. And I bought officesuite for making documents when I dont have my laptop.

I forgot about this one. Definitely a must have. I forgot to add Tap A Talk for recording lectures to play back later. Both of these are awesume apps and really unlock the power of a smartphone.

Tap-a-Talk - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=name.markus.droesser.tapeatalk&hl=en

CamScanner - https://play.google.com/store/apps/...SwxLDEsImNvbS5pbnRzaWcubGljLmNhbXNjYW5uZXIiXQ..

I can see that there is already a pool of learning apps rounded up in the comments.

If you're away from home, chances are you will be doing your own grocery shopping from now on.
I'd like to suggest this free shopping list app called Rainbow List to help you keep track of the stuff that you need.

It's a nice little app (which I happened to develop). More info here.

iAnnotate PDF. It is not as refined as its on iOS but it is free (at least it was when I got it). I am sure some of your professors will send you hand outs as pdfs.
