useless apps in boot process

How can I prevent certain apps to start after the boot? When I power on the phone, there are some useless applications and I don't want them to occupy memory.

u can disable many startup apps in ICS... go to apps in settings and individually disable the offending app.... not all but many can go

if I power off the phone and then power on, they are started again

i am not saying to Force Stop
i am asking u to Disable them
if u have ICS version on Ray then it is possible
i have disabled many and power off doesnt affect.....
