user activity stream for my app

I am developing and app, and also a website as well, the two go hand in hand. however when people go to website I want them to see user activity feed something like you see when you go to foursquare. where it shows tips and other things ppl said about the location they checked into.

I want to know how to do this type of sync between app and actual home page?

does anyone know how.
