Help User Manual?

My wife received a new Huawei Ascend P7 yesterday. A few hours later a software update was downloaded and installed. My impression is that the User Manual - dated June 2014 - is out of date(?): I looked for instructions regarding bookmarks, but the procedure outlined is not 'valid'!
