Help Using a 32gb c10 HC Sandisk

so, my old 16gb lexar 16GB class4 HC, crapped out, just popped up and said SDCARD DAMAGED!

so i was eh..ok, cause i do frequent backups...monthly, or after a certain amount of data change...

i was using the 32gb in my asus tf300 tablet, but since im selling it, i thought id just format it and stick it in my SGS2 phone...

first it said, checking errors...forever...
so i used the phones format...same thing..
rebooted..same thing...

i did it a particular way and it went away..but a few minutes later, rebooted on me..

So, just now i reformated the sd card using the recovery...cleared davlik...fixed permissions...

still showing that its checking for errors...

i thought these phones could take 32GB..MAX

32gig should work fine. Have you tried something simple like cleaning contacts?

i dont know what happened, but for anyone for same issue...

i formatted from the phone in settings and the recovery,from windows...both kept saying "checking for errors"
this could be because of its size and just takes longer?

i would go into settings and click MOUNT SD
it would do this, then force reboot

i unchecked and rechecked settings such as,
-usb mode switcher
-usb debugging
and anything else that was using or could use the USB feature.

i dont know what it was or what happened...it seems to have fixed it self...
i didnt use ANY apps to fix,restore it or anything..

but once it saw it i connected to my computer and copied everything from my old 16gb to new 32GB card...so far its good

checking now, shows total space is 29.71 (32gb)
available is 14GB

so anyone coming across same issue, just enable/disable and re-enable those usb options...some will tell you that it will now reboot, let it. if it doesnt, then just reboot anyway.

i dont use the sd card for contacts., just pictures,camera and games..data. anything important i let it use system ram, so its faster./
