using a USB stick with the phone?

I tried to use a USB stick with my LG G4 but it asks me if i want to format it.
The usb stick i'm using is formatted as NTSF which is what most HDD's are formatted as.

is there a special format to be used when attaching to the phone?

You are plugging a USB stick into the phone...for external storage like an SD? As in a thumb drive? Didn't know you can do that. However if it is the same as the SD I believe they need to be formatted to FAT32 for Android so I would try that.

yes, its possible but u need a cable to go from full USB to usb-micro (or is it mini?).

i'll try formatting it to fatty32 and c what happens, THANKS!

"Nexus Media Importer" ($4 in the app store) will let you access the contents of NTFS-formatted drives, or so it claims. Most other solutions require root access.
