Using an Android Phone Without Wireless Internet?

[avpr212]

Hey, i'm looking to buy a new phone, and was looking at the android phones. However, i don't have wireless internet and i don't really want to get it. Is it possible to download, install and use most of the apps on an android phone without wireless internet?

If it only works with some phones; could you tell me which?

thanks

Sure. As long as you've got a data plan.

It is possible, but you'd need a pretty good data plan. Most of the data I use on my handset is done over the various wireless networks I have around (Home and work mainly).
