Using Automatelt

Just installed it
Trying to have it sent a text when I receive a text from one of my contacts. The task shows up in history but it does not send out the text
Any ideas
Is Tasker easier to use

I've only just come across it.I'm currently using Llama.
Thoughts anyone ?
