Using camera to download?

I bought CoPilot Live and the (very poorly written) installation instructions include a black and white image (see attached). The seems-to-be-URL above the image doesn't work and I don't know how to use the image to do anything. I have been through my EVO 4G's Basics Guide twice and can't find anything that gives me a clue.

Not knowing what the process is called, I haven't been able to find anything in a generalized search, so I am hoping someone here can tell me how to use it.

That's called a QR code and if you download Barcode Scanner | AppBrain Android Market and then scan the code, you should be able to download.

Thank you. That did the job perfectly. I was able to scan the image on my monitor and the download started immediately.

I have since had problems with the installation, but that is another matter.

It's funny. After I discovered QR codes, I started seeing them everywhere. At the last Chicago Auto Show VW had QR code stickers on all their cars. They linked to a commercial for each model. I didn't watch a single video in its entirety but it was fun scanning the codes. Educated a few people near me who wondered what I was doing too.
