Using Clipboard Freezes a Particular App

At least a couple of times a week when I use the clipboard to either copy or paste within an app or from one app to another the app freezes.
For example, let's assume I copy some text from some article in the New York Times. I then go to Facebook to paste that text and Facebook freezes completely (if I try to paste it in any other app that app also freezes). By the same token, if I try to copy something from any app the copy itself freezes the app. The only way I can get copy and paste word again is to shut down the phone and restart. Interestingly enough this start happening right after the last update on my Samsung S 20+ under Verizon.
I have tried to see if there's some kind of a pattern but I have not been able to find any. It just seems to happen randomly.

have you rebooted your phone? is this the only issue from the update? or are there other weird bugs happening?
