Help Using connectbot to get my MSL

Okay, folks...my GPS is pooched. I found the thread about resetting it...but I need my MSL....and i have *NO* clue what to do with connectbot. All the instructions just say "Use it to get your MSL"....*NOT* a lot of help, there.......
Where am i supposed to connect-to...and what do I do *after* that?

I assume I need to use the ##4772579#, since I can't type any text into the phone dialer...I get the MSL prompt from there....but I obviously can't get any further.

why not just ask sprint to give you your msl? usually they will give it to you.

Great advice!
Called Sprint & got the MSL...but when I enter the Code (it goes to "check MSL"), and enter the MSL itself; I get the "Sorry! com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" and am told to Force Close.
Thoughts?
