I have a basic question about Google's music player. I have my N3 authorized as a device and I can stream music to it with the app. I would like to know if/how I can download music from My Library to my device. That is not obvious or intuitive.

Thanks,

Rick A.

I believe this has to be done through the computer. it will allow you to download it and drag and drop onto the device.

If you are talking about downloading music that you have been streaming previously, there is a couple ways...
Either look for the three vertical dots (setting menu looking thing) next to album title and select "keep on device" or if you have the album open there is a shaded out pin icon...select it and it will fill in orange. All albums you have downloaded, or "pinned" as they call it, will show that pin filled in orange.
However, you will not be able to pull these "pinned" albums off your phone. You don't really own the music, but it is there to listen to offline as much as you want as long as you are a subscriber.

Lee, thanks a million for the lead to isyncr. That looks to be a much better solution than my wrestling with another music store being the middleman for my iTunes music.
