Help Using groups when composing mail with Gmail

I use gmail for my personal email and I have this email account sent up with the Gmail program on this phone. My business email account is sent up through the regular email program on my phone. This way I can differentiate personal from business email on my home page. On thing I noticed is that I can't send mail to group contacts with Gmail program, but it seems to work okay with the regular email program. Is there a way to use group contacts with the Gmail program?

I'm not sure how to do it from within the Gmail app, was wondering this myself.

However, if you go in through the People app and select the group, you can choose to send email from there (it will ask which email app to use).

Not ideal, but still better than manually adding people.

Hopefully there will be a fix where Groups will be auto-filled just like individual users like it is in real Gmail.

Don't get why they haven't added this yet, it's probably the most widely asked for feature.
