Using headset button on Samsung GS3 LTE phone

I have recently bought a SGS3 LTE phone & on trying out the headset (tried Samsung's own provided headset & various Android headsets I own) I am perplexed on how to skip back in a podcast. On my previous phone, I would double-click to skip forward & triple click to skip back (rewind, as it were).
On this Samsung phone, double-clicking within Pocketcasts (my podcatcher of choice) does indeed skip forward (45 secs) but triple-clicking merely plays then pauses the podcast I'm listening to. Am I doing it wrong? How can I skip back a track on a Samsung phone? Triple clicking the headset button always skipped-back, both on my iPod Touch & my Nokia Lumia 520 phone too.

Can anyone help & put me out of my misery please?!
I have a holiday coming up, with long journeys ahead & podcast listening is an essential part of my daily life!

Please help.

The phone only sees the buttons as a general input command. The specific responses (i.e., skip back 45 seconds, etc) of the buttons are usually set up in the player itself. Check your settings. They may not have been carried over from your old phone.
