Help using Kies3

Hi all,

I am new around here and looking for a bit of help. I have an S5 which is a great phone. I have a situation where it is important that I have a record of all text messanged sent to and received from an individual.

I downloaded Kies3 and thought it would be a case of doing a sync between the phone and the laptop then I would be able to view all of the messages on the laptop but this does not be the case.

I may be being completely stupid here and missing something totally obvious and looking for someone to point me in the right direction.

if Kies 3 does not support the function that I need, is there something else available that I can use ?

Any assistance received would be greatly aappreciated.

Hi, there is an app in the Play Store called "SMS Backup and Restore", check it out, I think it might be what you are looking for. Phil

Thats great Phil, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I will have a look at that app. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if it also works with Windows phones or if there is a suitable alternative ?
