Help Using mp3 for message tone

Hi guys thanks for solving the flashlight issue ,Very useful. My question is . Does anyone know how I could use a song MP3 as my message tone???

hey..this worked for me:
1) go to ur memory card and create a folder named notifications.
2) paste the tone u want here.
3)go to settings>sound>notification ringtone. u should be able to see the track u wanted here.
