Help using my android phone

Wincome

Lurker
I am a complete novice allowing that my OUKITEL U13 phone Manual is lacking in Information I can send messages and Phone calls no Problem but when My Phone rings with an incoming call I do not Not know what to do to answer it. If I PRESS THE ON/OFF then the call is cut off , anyone know what to do to receive my calls.

Normally, what I've seen with my devices anyway, the display turns on when I have an incoming call and shows whose calling. Usually toward the bottom of the display there is a slider that I can swipe kefrto reject the call or swipe right to answer the call.

If I tap any hardware buttons such as the power or volume keys, it will simply mute the ring without actually rejecting the call.

My manual for my Moto didn't say, either and I found out you swipe the middle icon to the right over the other icon and it answers. Of course, yours may be totally different, but really... these companies need to be a little more helpful than they are. Not all of us are 'experts' with cell phone usage. Good luck!

Thanks Brian 706, But the OUkitel power off button when pushed during an incoming all just cuts it Off.

On one of my phones when an incoming phone call comes in the screen looks like the top half of the pic below, and then I tap on that green phone icon and slide it to the right to answer or to the left to ignore it and let it go to voicemail. Assuming your Oukitel has something set up in a similar way.

Thanks svim, but as yet have never seen any screens like those.

Just about all Android phones I've seen, it comes up on the screen slide or tap to answer, as well as the option to reject a call. Is that not happening with this Oukitel?

You can always install a different dialer app and use it instead of the stock dialer

Thanks all of you that have made sugestions but I have finally found the answer , I went through the Settings item by Item and I came across an item entitled Gesture Motion tapping that then gave me another item entitled "telephony motion" tapping that gave another two choices Turn to silence and "Answer by Swing" . The latter did the trick when I ticked that box. thanks for all the help.
