Using Nitrodesk Touchdown (going from WM to Android)

I've been using WM 6.5 for a few years now and sync with a hosted Exchange Server through Sherweb. I've been thinking about moving to an Android device and wanted to find out from previous WM users who now use Android with Exchange using the Android Exchange client or the Touchdown application. What have been the pros and cons? Can you do everything that you can with WM?

I've researched this quite a bit and cannot find any definitive answers about the differences. Since Exchange is built into WM everything works pretty smoothly. I have a friend with the Touchdown app and he has duplicate contacts.

I'm quite a bit biased, of course, but i think that Touchdown has a very good story to tell in relation to WinMo/WinPho. The duplicate contacts is not really an issue anymore, so i'm unsure why your friend is still having the issue. It's a very easy fix. (have him ping the support folks at support@nitrodesk.com)

The full list of features are here: TouchDown Features

I'm an old-time WinMo guy from my years at MS, but I've literally missed nothing about the way WM worked since I've cut over to TouchDown. Touchdown does about 80% of the features and functions you would find in your Outlook client on your desktop machine.

I've used touchdown for several months now and highly recommend it. I never had problems with duplicate contacts and sure love the ability to set when I want it to poll for mail. That way I don't get disturbed at night and on weekends.
