Help Using other android as cam

Here's the thing, I have android phone A and B.. However I'm planning to use my A to type while chatting on skype while my B as the webcam .. Is there any way to do that?

Yes,

and I do it all the time.
My main phone is now a newly acquired Note 4, and my prior phone was the GS5 that is still a superb phone, it is just relegated to 2nd fiddle now.

and as such, it has become a very talented Camera Device, take a pix, or a video, and then go direct to ASUS File Manager to send it to my Desktop PC to work with via WiFi network.

As a Web Camera, yep, it can do that also via the WiFi feature. You would need a Wall Wart plugged into it or it won'g last long. Video Cams are hard on batteries.

And you would need an app to "Keep the phone awake" or the display will time out. Lots of those.
