Using Phone as Network Adapter

I'm trying to use my phone to connect my Computer to my wireless network router and it works for a bit (10ish mins) then just cuts out and I have to unplug and retry. 3g network is disabled and everything so it shoudln't be carrier interference any tips ?

You connect the phone to the router by wifi. How are you connecting the phone to the computer? What hardware and what software? You need something that connects the phone, wirelessly (the wireless part of the router is connected to the switch) BEFORE the switch.

I suspect that the PC keeps disconnecting because of IP issues.
