Help Using rear camera on Skype

Is there a way to activate the rear camera on the galaxy tab 10.1 while using Skype? I would like to take some contacts on a house tour and be able to see what they are seeing when I point the camera lens on different things. It is really hard to do using the front camera as you cannot see if it is pointed correctly.
 
I have not got my 10.1 near to me at this time, but I have used this facility you require. I think that if whilst you are in Skype there appears a video camera icon on the right hand side of the screen, touching it will give you the option you want. As I said - I have not got my Tab 10.1 to hand but just now I will dig it out and check that the information I have indicated is exact.
Anyway you can do it.

I am having the same issue with my Galaxy tablet. I touch the camera icon in the lower left when in Skype and the option to switch to the other camera displays with the Rotate Screen, no camera and switch camera icons. When I touch the switch camera icon nothing happens. HELP> I need this today.
 
You should be presented with the option to use either front or rear camera by tapping on the video icon bottom right.
 
make sure you don't have a cover blocking the lens.

sounds stupid I know, but you'd be surprised.
 
I have an unrelated but still a Skype problem. I tried to Skype my girlfriend using my tab. She can see me and I can see her the thing is I can hear her but she can't hear me. Idk if you guys are using headsets or not but when I did this I'm kinda assuming that the tab microphone would just pick up my voice...any help would be great
 
Just found out that although the Galaxy Tablet has a rear camera that you can take videos with it does not support the rear camera when Skyping because it runs on Froyo 2.2.

Could this be corrected with a Skype update?
 
I noticed one additional wrinkle which might explain why some people experience problems with Skype video calls when others don
