Help Using Square on dragon touch y88x

Is it possible? I have square installed, but can't get the reader to work when swiping a card. I'm guessing there's a setting on the tablet that I'm missing. Any ideas?
 
Having the same problem, do you get the reader disconnected popup when you plug it in?

Edit* I sent them an email and it turns out the Y88X doesn't support square credit card reader
