I am new to Android and have an Android phone (non-rooted Sony Ericsson MT27i) that I'd like to connect to the internet via my laptop's wired Ethernet connection at my home with a fixed IP address. This wired connection shows up on my system as the default "Local Area Connection".
I don't want to root as the warranty will void and it can damage the phone as well
Is there a way to make this work? Thanks in advance!
