UTP Connected and Voice command problem in Galaxy S2

Hi Friends,

Recently I got fed up and frustrated with the below problem in my 4 months old samsung galaxy s2 with AT&T.
1. I am often getting the usb connected message at top and mtp initiated message with that and it is showing charging even though i m not connected to any of the USB
2. And also, very often i am getting the vlingo voice control/command automatically switched on even though i m not connected of wifi or 4g.

Because of these 2, I am suspecting my charge/battery is getting drained within few hours i.e 100% charges goes to 1% within 2 hours :(

Any one please help me what should I do to resolve this.

That is the problem I am also having. I took my phone to an AT&T service center and was told that there was corrosion on my micro USB port. I was told this was due to exposure to moisture and my warranty would not cover it. I have been making due with it for now, but I have to charge my phone 3 times a day. I don't know if you use a battery widget, but mine warns me that I am "overvolt." I have contacted Samsung, but am now readying myself to fork out the cash for a new phone. I just wish this had not happened until the GS3 was released.

I have the exact same problem, it's extremely annoying..
Do you guys have any idea what the costs would be if I'd have the micro usb port replaced? I haven't even had my phone for a year now, and buying a new smartphone isn't really something I'd like to do.

Thanks

Hi guys, I have a similar problem. My phone is about 2-3 months old and starts Vlingo when I am charging it. Not when unplugged, but I worry it might get to your problem. I dont live in the US so I feel like I cant do much. I would like to know if the port can be changed though in case my phone gets worse. Please tell me if you find a solution.
