Root Vampirefo's OC kernel trouble

Okay installed Vanpirefo's V3 OC kernel and was working fine until I rebooted. Started having Force Close errors. So i figured I flash back to regular 2.7 kernel. Now having force close of android.process.acore I ccant do anything without this happening. Cant use phone, apps or anything. Please help!!

try to reformat your sd card, make sure to make a back up of the files on it.
if this doesnt work than just reflash froyo

Just curious why would reformating SD card help? I understand the Froyo reflash but not the SD card.

it has to do with FAT, idk the exact specifics lol.
Vamp suggested this to me when i was having the problem,the threads in 2.2 questions, "Sudden force closes" if i remember correctly.

well here goes, I reformatted SD card. Still have force close. Reinstalled FroyoRC2 and reinstalled the regular 2.7 kernel. Still having the force close of android.process.acore! SHould I try restoring all my system data from Titanium Backup and see if that fixes it? Plus even with reinstalling the FroyoRC2 all my apps are still on there. I thought when I applied FroyoRC2 all my data would be gone like when i originally flashed over.
