VCOrganizer help
I know this is technically slightly off topic as it's the PC side I'm having trouble with but does anyone have any experience/knowledge in interpreting windows errors?? I've been struggling with VCO's sync center trying to get it to run and I can't even get it to launch. Devs appear to be clueless, I've talked to them numerous times and they can't find the problem, and I think they've given up. I like their android app better than any of the other Outlook-Android options out there; that's why I'm still trying. This is what stands between sticking with Android or switching to an older device for me. I'm going to try posting on some Windows forums too.
Anyways here's the error I get as soon as I try launching the sync program:

Description:
Stopped working

Problem Event Name: CLR20r3
Problem Signature 01: vcorganizer.exe

Surely that must mean something to someone!

Hello again all.
Sorry to ressurrect a thread noone is interested in, but does anyone out there have an older version of VCO's Sync Center? I'm talking before ver 4, and would need the install file.

I'm determined to make this work!
Hope someone out there can help.

Hi...

I'm not have the answer but I can suggest the re-install the VCOrganizer. The CLR20r3 error is caused by a problem with the way in which Windows will not be able to read the files & settings required to help particular applications load up.

The common causes of this error include:

  • Windows cannot read the registry files it needs to run
  • Your PC has errors & problems with its settings
  • Your system is unable to process the information required to perform the task you want

If this error happens only with VCOrganizer, could be that you didn't have administrator privileges when you installed.

Well so far nothing has been done by the developers. I'll try passing this along to them but honestly I think they've given up.
