Help vDM Client has stopped working.

Hello all,

After a month of trying I still cant get a 4g connection. Here is some background:

A month ago my 4g was fine. Then VM performed a 'network update' that knocked out all service on my phone. 3 days later everything came back except 4g. For the 3 days with no service I tried a bunch or radios to make sure the problem was not my phone - no luck. When service came back (without 4g) I called VM to rectify. They stated they re-added my phone to the network and the 4g service was strong in my area. However, after hanging up and rebooting my phone (as VM requested) - still no 4g.

I tried another few radios last night but no 4g luck on any of them. What I have noticed is that after installing a radio, after a reboot, a message appears to the screen stating:

"Unfortunately, vDM client has stopped working"

Everything else works after the message BUT not 4g.

Any ideas? Could the message be connected to my no-4g issue?

I'm on Harmonia with HBOOT 1.57

Looks like this person had a similar error message:

One responder stated:

"Don't restore a Nandroid backup before deleting wimax.img from the backup folder! If you don't, you'll overwrite the new Wimax keys with your old ones and the 4G won't work! "

Which is something I may have done when trying to get the service restored for those 3 days of no service.

Im happy to report that I got a message on my phone this AM that 'Update Performed' - then my 4g came back!

"Only" took VM 4 weeks to update me - at least my phone is back to 'normal'.
