Root Velocity 1.2 Flashing Error?

I cannot seem to install Velocity 1.2 unless i make the signature verification disabled... is it OK that its disabled to install Velocity 1.2?

When i downloaded Velocity 1.2, I had to rezip it (i don't know if that has anything to do with that)


I use my phone as a primary and don't want to corrupt the system


(i did a nandroid and wiped the user data)



Error:

Install from SD Card..
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:No Signature (1667 files)
E:Verification Failed

Zip verification failed
Zip isn't signed correctly
 
you shouldn't have had to zip it again, that's really weird. I would delete it and redownload.

Toggling sig verify is safe, I do it all the time for faster installs :)
 
When you re-zipped it, it's signature broke. Use AndroidSigner or similar to re-sign it, or do as benwalburn said and redownload. Why did you need to rezip it, by the way?
 
I am running MacOSX running safari.... i guessed I've learned to not use safari to download ROMS because safari automatically unzips it:rolleyes:
