How to I get my Xbox to connect to the internet using a Wifi Hotspot app (Barnacle or Wifi Tether). When I turn the Wifi on on my phone it connects to the network but nothing else... HELP?
Do you have a computer? You can always connect your Xbox 360 to your computer then you can share your wireless connection to the local area connection then you hook your Xbox to your computer using an Ethernet cable.
either that, or u can usb tether ur phone to ur pc via pdanet, and use connectify on ur PC to broadcast a wifi AP (assuming u have windows 7, and ur wifi card supports AP mode). ur xbox cant pick up the straight wifi signal from barnacle because barnacle broadcasts in ad hoc, and most devices can only connect to an AP (infrastructure mode).

I have windows 8 & a home internet connection (wired) connected to the Xbox for now but I was just wondering if this phone COULD do it so I could use my phone @ a friends for their 360. I figured it was because of Ad Hoc but wasnt sure... Now I know
My original post was asking about connecting the phone to the 360 as a mass storage device... after many attempts I finally got it!!!
Usually I would plug it in, then press "Turn on USB storage" but it wouldn't show up in the 360. What I did was go into the 360's system settings, it showed there as a USB Storage Device then I clicked it as if I were going to format it but instead I chose "customize" then backed out w/o doing any formatting.
