Venturing into Android with CM7 - Thank you

Hi guys - Thanks to all your posts I got a working HTC hero with CM7. Phew!

Earlier, I got a CM7 install working on a brand new HTC Hero and then learnt the hard way.

You cannot active a phone after it is CM7ed!

For rookies like me
HTC Hero CDMA Sprint
Don't root or modify it
1. Activate it with Sprint
2. Root it
3. Backup
4. CM7 mod it all day long .
