Just getting used to my new G3 and I have a question about 3g/4g.
I think I live in a 3g only area, but when I first activated my G3, I had the 4g icon in the notification bar. I could not see anyway to turn off LTE, so I just ignored it. However, upon looking further, I found where I could switch between Verizon EHRPD and Verizon LTE. Once I set it on EHRPD, I got a 3g icon in the bar, and now, even when I switch it back to LTE, I don't get the 4g icon back. Did I screw something up, or is it best to switch to EHRPD when in a non-4g area to save battery, like I used to switch to CDMA mode on my previous 4g phones?
Also, anyone figure out how to really control the LED light? I have it set to blink when I get an email (K9) but it just comes on and stays on. Sometimes it's blue, sometimes pink, sometimes red - I can't figure it out. It seems to have a mind of it's own.
