Root [Verizon] 4.1.2 root?

What's the safest method to root 4.1.2.I looked at the all root guide sticky and the rooting link that tells me to download casual didn't work.Please lead me in the right direction.Thanks.
 
I downloaded Casual r532b and ran it like the video says and I get an error that says "Error cannot access device libusb or something like that and something that is asking my computer if I was sure I wanted to run Cadi. o.O
 
it's still doing the same thing :/. The screen pops up constantly asking me if I want to run cadi.exe pops up every time I click yes or no.

What is this screen? Is it Windows or your antivirus (which could be disabled)?

Speaking of Windows, what version? (XP, Vista, Win7, Win 8?)
 
Casual 515b is what I used in July and it runs fine. I just ran it now (without my phone plugged in) and had several warnings from Avast AV, so you might need to temporarily disable whatever antimalware you run. I had an adb window open along with the Casual app.

You've got something goofy going on there, b/c the link works for me. Can you DL it on another computer and put it on a USB stick?
 
yeah,still not working,just tried on my netbook.can you upload it to dropbox or something so I can download.Just tried it with safari,firefox,opera.None worked.That would be much appreciate it,thanks!
 
I finally got it to download but it's the same thing,here's the log that I get.

edit:YAY I have root.now time to search for a rom.I had to make sure that the computer didn't ask me everytime I made changes to the computer.

Since I still like the idea of learning to use the pen features, I'm running Jelly Beans 22 and think I'll stick with it.
 
Look for update guides in google but turn on search options first upper right hand corner of Google page and select a time range for past year. That way you get a new guide and not something from 2 years ago
 
Colchiro I was doing the same with jelly beans 2.2 but there are no more updates and I got bored with it. Check out pacman ROM for I 605 you will enjoy the experience..
