Root [Verizon] Are dev's gonna jump on this phone?

Considering the fact that this phone is rooted and the source code was released for the kernel, do you think this will end up being a big phone for ROM's, kernel mods, etc?

Until the boot loader is unlocked, things will just trickle in. When we finally get custom recovery, then the ball with start rolling. If you browse around forums for different versions of this phone, some of them have a lot of cool roms and add ins going on.

With a locked & encrypted bootloader, rom development will be slow, and kernel development will be still born. If the security isn't stronger compared to how the Verizon Galaxy S3 was released(before the bootloader leak), then Custom Recovery and Kexec roms should be possible down the road assuming enough interested is there.
