Hi Andrea, after rooting via Towelroot, what have you done otherwise? Did you flash a custom recovery or simply reboot your phone causing it to run into a bootloop?

Is yours a mdk, me* mk* or NC5 ? forgot to ask before i posted the below reply . The below is for NC5, i will give links to the others of you need them .

Download odin 3.09 - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23321874045862094

then download the stock 4.4.2 NC5 image - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407590051

1. Unzip the file and you should have a tar.md5
2. Select the tar.md5 in Odin under PDA (or AP if using Odin 3.09) and keep Odin's default settings
3. Click start and wait for it to say Pass!

you will have to re-root phone .
This is a no- wipe method, so you wont loose all your stuff. If this doesnt work, you may have to try the full wipe method.

I don't have capability on my phone to download old ones but I do have a laptop and I have downloaded odin and Winzip & 7 zip. I've attempted to unzip Odin so that I could so I can flash the firmware from the laptop. but for some reason the laptop won't let me open Winzip or 7zip and this is a picture of what pops up. it ask me every time what program I would like to open WinZip and 7zip with. Any suggestions??? I already have all files on my laptop have

This is what comes up

If you try to open with 7zip and it asks what program, select 7zip file manager and make it default. let me know if that helps or not.

when you see that screen, select browse at the bottom, find z7ip and select 7zip fila manager . that should fix that problem :)

from your screenshot, when you get to that again, at the bottom right hand corner, there is a browse button. Once you click that it will give a window with directories. You will have to go to c:\program files\7zip . Once you find the correct directory, select 7zipfm.exe and make sure that the " Always use this program to open this kind of file " is selected, and it will never ask you what to open a zip file with again :)

Windows is such a pain, i run Linux instead. But keep a active boot partition with win 7 on my laptop just in case i need to run windows.

Hey Graham I got it flashed back to stop and its still stuck at the white Verizon screen Odin said pass when I flashed stock firmware what else could be wrong??
