Root [Verizon] Camera issues

I recently got a Galaxy S3 from Verizon SCH-I535
I played around with it a bit, checked out the camera, which worked great, and then I rooted it. I fumbled around with that for quite a long time, and then found some good instructions that got everything done. I installed Cyanogenmod 10.0 Stable release, and continued using my phone. Something came up and I wanted to take a picture of it, but I got a blank screen for a couple seconds, then it said it could not connect to the camera and the camera app closed. I tried a couple times with the same result. I tried turning it off and then on, but got the same result. I wondered if it was the app, so I checked other apps that use the camera such as Barcode Scanner, and got blank screens with errors before them telling me there was an error with the camera and they closed. I have been searching around and found that it was apparently because I was missing the file "SlimlSP_ZH.bin" in root/sstem/Cameradata, so I downloaded the file but my phone wouldn't let me add the file. I tried Android Commander, but it claims i don't have root (I do have Busy Box installed on my android), yet I have Superuser, I have CWM, I'm running CM10, and all my rooted apps work great. Any ideas on how to either get that file in my Cameradata folder, or another idea on how to fix my camera?

Welcome VintageFenrir!
Did you download/flash the Gapps package after the rom flash?
I don't know if that has to do with it but thought I would ask.
Did you check the md5 of the rom.zip before you flashed it? Perhaps it was corrupt and may need to reflash a fresh download.
I'm throwing out ideas here as I have not run a CM rom. :)

Thank you for your help Mikestony, however I discovered the problem. Apparently, Cyanogenmod does not offer an insecure debug mode as I had ignorantly assumed. I downloaded Insecure adbd and I was able to move the file over with ease, and now the camera works perfectly.
