Verizon: can I change my 4g to 3g?

Is there a way that I can switch over to 3g to save battery life?

I have the mega battery from zero lemon but I would like to also tone it down to 3g since I don't use 4g speeds really.

Thanka

I'm not positive for the Note. On my GNex if I went to Mobile Networks in settings, there was an option for CDMA / LTE and CDMA Only. It isn't there on my Moto X though, so your mileage may vary. I found that battery life savings was significant expecially at it took a lot to hand off between 3G & 4G and I was in a spotty area for both.

I've been using this app for a long time, works great.

I live in a weak signal area so keep it in 3G most of the time. Just select CDMA/auto prl.

Give it a shot and see if it works for you, not sure if it works for the Note or not.

Seems like a cdma only app.

Though I could probably run it if I change my build.prop

That is way to much for keeping 4g off or 3g off.

Op, look for dialar codes.
BE CARFUL, I ACCADENTLY TURNED OFF MY ANTENNA ENTIRELY ONCE. And that antenna is my only internet. Had to stumble around to get it back on.

You can try going to the Settings > Wireless & networks > More Settings > Mobile Networks > Network Mode and fool around with the settings in there a little bit.
