[Verizon] Cant make nandroid backup?

I have a friend who is trying to make a nandroid backup but he keeps getting an error saying "cant mount backup path"

He has a 4.0.4 cdma Galaxy Nexus, rooted and cwm 5.5.0.2

Any ideas what the problem is?

I assume they've already tried backup directly from recovery? If not, try that first.

Other things to try:

• Open Rom Manager and Flash CWM Recovery, then boot into recovery from RM and try a backup.
• Flash TWRP from Goo Manager and backup from that.
