verizon changing upgrade policy

^^^This is the biggest load of horse S**T! In the past 2 months almost everyone I know has jumped ship to Sprint. As much as I love Verizon I think I may be next if this is true. I've held onto this NE2 specifically for when a LTE device I really want comes out. Now, according to them, I have to use it within 6 months or I can't use it at all??? How can they do that? When I have some free time I'm going to call these bastards and see what the deal is

good luck with Sprint. The worst customer service on the planet!

I will happily stay with verizon and pay a few extra bucks.

I wonder if part of Verizon's thought on this is that with people using their annual upgrade each year, for a new phone, they can turn around and get more $$ for their 1 year old phone than they paid for it new, thus the customer is profiting from Verizon letting them upgrade to a new device?.?.

IF I leave my Evo behind and go back to Verizon for the Thunderbolt, I will put it on a 1 year contract. No more 2 year deals for me, especially with the rapid advancement of technology in smart phones.

I just did a one year contract last week and I'm glad I did. I swore to myself that I would never do a 2 yr contract again. I'm willing to pay the extra money if it means keeping up with technology at least somewhat.
