Root [Verizon] ClockworkMod for Verizon GS3?

I flashed the CWM from this thread when rooting my Verizon GS3.

[ROOT] [RECOVERY] SCH-i535 - xda-developers

I see overnight @koush has tweeted CWM Recoveries are up on ROM Manager. They are here:

ClockworkMod ROM Manager - Recoveries

Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, and unbranded options are there but no Verizon. What to do?

Looks like there's one now for VZN 5.8.4.6, but I'll wait for a bit before flashing this new one.

I tried it out and it fails immediately when backing up boot.img, and also tries to create directory names dated 1970.

And actually, the one I was using from XDA is also creating directory names dated 1970. Has anyone ever seen this?

I flashed touch.img from this site [RECOVERY] ClockWorkMod Recovery [Updated 7/12/12 - Working! READ OP!] - xda-developers

Was able to create a backup, haven't had a chance to try a recovery yet. Others on the above thread have had success with the touch cwm version. Filenames and dates are still a problem with the touch version (1970/1980).

That touch version in the above post does indeed appear to work (but still has the 1970 date problem. I say 'appear' because I haven't actually had to restore one of these yet, knock on wood.

Overnight it looks like CWM & Touch were updated by Koush, and there is now a Verizon-specific version, but I still experience a failure to backup and the same date problem with it as I did the initial CWM build.

I also tried TWRP. Sexy! Might just stick with it.
