Hello,
To start I want to say that I recently got a new phone, obviously the Gnexus and am not new to root. I recently had the LG Ally and was a fantastic phone at least when it was rooted, with great DEVs.
To the problem, I just rooted this phone a few minutes ago and am having some problems with CWM Recovery, it sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. Usually it'll just give me the dead android with the <!> coming out of its belly. And seldom does it actually go into recovery. But I noticed that every time I flash it, immediately after it ends up working.
My guess would be its not "sticking"? I have no idea. Things are very different from this phone from the last. I brag that I am computer and technologically savvy. One last note, I checked my Android Version, and it states I'm at Version 4.0.2 and have found no where on how to get up to 4.0.4, even the system updates doesn't give me anything.
That said, otherwise I am loving the copious amount of options there are for this phone.
***Edit: Sorry I just found the part about it not sticking, I'm gonna try that. Still any regards on the 4.0.2Version?
