Root [Verizon] Does rooting cause updates from Verizon not to work???

I just got a notice to update my phone from Verizon but when I click to do it it reboots up into clock work recovery mode then I have to scroll done to highlight and click YES- To Install Untrusted Zip......... but soon as I do it it says update failure I'm wondering if I can't update cause I rooted my phone s3 galaxy

Edit: I only rooted phone so I have the Superuser app nothing else...

(Install untrusted zip) is what it seems I have install for my cell to update but it fails to install when I highlight and click to run the file

I didn't change the rom I just rooted my galaxy s3 so I have the Superuser icon option..... Would that effect my update? Sorry if there are stupid question I'm still a newbie at all this....... Snap shot from my phone

Do not ever take official updates if you are rooted.
Will you be ok? Maybe.
Will you lose root? Probably.
Download a stock Rom update instead. It will be available very soon after the OTA.
DON'T EVER TRUST THE OFFICIAL OTA.
It will often close the loophole that allows you root access.

You didn't just root your phone -- you also installed a custom recovery. Don't try and install an OTA through clockwork!! That's just asking for trouble.

You should just wait on the stock rom you have until you can get a rooted/tweaked version of the new updated rom. Until then, if you are on stock rom and rooted, get titanium backup and freeze "SDM 1.0" so you aren't bothered with the notifications anymore.
