Verizon droid 3 question please help!

Hi I own a galaxy s II but am looking to sell it because I am in desperate need of a phone with a physical keyboard... I have watched countless videos and read countless reviews about the droid 3 and have decided it suits me because i live in Australia a country that does not have 4G LTE speeds and is gsm... My question is if I buy a Verizon droid 3 with a bad esn of ebay seeing i do not want to flash the cdma portion of the phone is there a easy way to unlock the sim portion on a bad esn droid?..... Also does anybody is Sydney Australia have a unlocked droid 3 in excellent condition or new they would consider selling at a reasonable price or working out a trade for a European Samsung Galaxy S II?

Do not under any circumstances buy a phone with a bad e s n. Spend a little more money and get yourself a phone that will work for sure. Going the route that you are going you are bound to have a headache And have a mass of problems. Save yourself the time and effort, just get a good phone
 
Thank you very much for your input.. By the way seeing i have never used a cdma phone what is a bad esn as such?... Also seeing you have cleared the don't get a bad one part does anybody have a good one unlocked and new or used to swap with a European Samsung Galaxy S II that's right exynos people :)
