Is there a Verizon originated email app that provides access to Verizon email?
 
Any email app will give you access to Verizon email. Just call tech support, let them know what you're going to do (connect to your Verizon email account) and get the data you need - server names, port numbers, security, etc. Then plug those into the new email account you set up on your phone.
