[Verizon] Ethernet Adapter

Does anyone know how to use an ethernet adapter with the Verizon Galaxy Nexus?

The phone is rooted, running stock 4.2.2.

I have a USB OTG cable and a Linksys USB300M USB ethernet adapter. When I connect them to the phone the Linksys light activates and is powered off of the phone but I can't get ethernet connectivity.

Is there a way to get this to work? Can I do it with a custom ROM? Custom kernel? Is there a driver or something I can install?

I am trying to use an IP camera app on the phone to put a video stream on a network using an ethernet connection to the network switch. I can do it when I'm connected to the network via wifi and now I want to test this capability.

Thanks.

Contact Linksys and ask if the 300M is compatible with OTG wiith an Android phone, or if they have any driver to make it work.

There are adapters that work (someone reported one here a few months ago), but that one may bot be one of them.
