Hi all, I have a few quick questions about getting a Verizon Galaxy S4 to work with Metro PCS. Can anyone tell me exactly what settings I need to change? I'm familiar with APNs and all that, but haven't had any luck getting good information from searching. Another important thing is I need to know if 4G data will work or will the phone be stuck on 3G/2G? Also, if this matters, I'm rooted but not able to flash custom roms. Thanks for any assistance.

you should be able to get hspa+ but you will never get lte.
Are you positive on that? Only reason I ask is because with the latest 4.3 update for the Verizon S4 more LTE radio bands got enabled so I didn't know if that would work on T-Mobile's towers

The 4.3 update had enabled AWS LTE so it should work.

We'll they're not allowed to lock their LTE phones and since they need to start adding the new bands to their phone it all just falls in place.

Difficult to answer as carriers generally share the blacklisted numbers. but a cdma carrier may not share with a new gsm carrier you could call and try to get it put on.

only if its bad esn, you have to cross check the imei with t-mobile so you dont buy a shiny paperweight.

checked the esn on that link and this is what i got

you need to chekc the imei, not the esn. esn is for cdma connections while imei is for gsm.
