use Google Now. Also, I doesn't seem like my gmail is pushing to my phone, or the apps I download from Google play on my computer don't get pushed to my phone.

I just flashed Jelly Belly 3.3 ROM.

Try clearing the app data for Google Services Framework then reboot.
